Happy Village , 1059 N Wolcott Ave, Chicago, Illinois, United States
This place is by far, my favorite dive bar in the city. It would be easy to walk past this Ukrainian Village dive without realizing it, and miss the awesome ping pong tables, great drink prices, and of course one of the best beer gardens in the city, where you can bring in your own food!

Lou Malnati's Pizzeria - South Loop , 805 S State St, Chicago, Illinois, United States
A lot of people say that Lou Malnati's has the best deep dish pizza in Chicago. It was good but I'm not sold on the best part yet. Most people would disagree with me, as there was an hour wait for a table. Time flew by looking at all the vintage photos on the walls though. Would I go again, probably if with someone who has never been there before. Maybe not otherwise though.

The Ambassador East Hotel, 1301 N State Pkwy, Chicago, Illinois, United States
The hotel is a little bit north of the Mag Mile but it's in a great neighborhood with a fantastic nightlife. And it's only a few blocks away from the Red Line. The room was a little dated but we spent a lot of time exploring the city rather than in the room anyway.
There were a LOT of weddings occurring that weekend so catching an elevator took a little, ok, a lot of time. But I feel that the location made up for everything else.

The Purple Pig, 500 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, Illinois, United States
This place is a hidden gem!
It's a rather small restaurant with a few long tables which makes it very easy to feel right at home. The enterance is a little hidden, which makes the location even more secretive. Look for the black
I went with a few out-of-town friends last week. We shared a few Antipasti dishes and a tray of cheeses. My favorite was the Roasted Endive with Toasted Ciabatta Croutons but everything was incredibly delicious. This is a must-try restaurant for everyone.
