I'm fairly new to Dim Sum and wasn't sure what to expect. As a newbie, I played it safe with chicken corn soup, steamed shrimp dumplings and chicken with noodles. Everything tasted great and was perfectly heated. I'm looking to trying new dishes the next time I go.

You won't go for the atmosphere, but certainly the delicious, piping hot food. On a 10 below zero day, we all enjoyed a spectacular lunch of dim sum, and EVERY dish was hot off the wok, just the way it should be.
For starters, order the chicken corn soup, a broth-based soup with eggs. The shrimp dumplings were deliciously steamed. The fried shrimp rolls were scorching hot, crispy and not greasy at all. Happy Chef offers delicious comfort food for a blustery Chicago day in the heart of Chinatown.
