MOMA - Museum of Modern Art
On certain days per week there is a voluntary donation. I spent 3,5 hours in the museum! From Egypt to Modern Art everything is there. Watch out for the special! One section dedicated to only one great artist/scientist/designer, changes every month!

MOMA - Museum of Modern Art
The MOMA started in 1929 with an initial gift of eight prints and one drawing but has now grown its collection to over 150.000 pieces of artwork. After an extensive renovation the museum re-opened in September 2004. For the re-opening the admission fee was raised to a steep USD 20, but Fridays from 4pm to 8pm are free.
If you have even a little bit of interest in art the price is worth it but come early so you get something for your money.
The MOMA is considered one of the most important museums in the world with work from Picasso, Dali, van Gogh, Matisse or Cezanne and Warhol, Pollock or Hopper.
But eqaully interesting are the collection of industrial and manufactured artefacts that show cutting edge design and the architecture collection with models, drawings and photographs.
