Whoa!

I've been on both the West and East Grounds to work on field training with my dog. We're new to this but I can see why the others like it here so much. There's a variety of landscapes: tall grass prairies, woodlands and swamps. It's the largest pheasant hunting facility in Illinois and is also home to many field trials.

Just on the edge of Chicagoland, about 10 miles south of Joliet, it's a little bit out of the way for me but definitely well worth the trip.
